The Heartbreaker Tour with Heart and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience kicked off on Monday night at Cruzan Amphitheater!

Excellent doesn't even begin to describe it!  AWESOME SHOW!!

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience set was all Zeppelin tracks, and they nailed everyone: Immigrant Song, Ramble On, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Lemon Song, Houses of the Holy, Nobody's Fault But Mine, When the Levee Breaks, and Whole Lotta Love.

Heart's set was equally impressive.  They rocked all the classics:  Barracuda, What About Love, Magic Man, Dreamboat Annie, These Dreams, Alone, Crazy On You and more.

For the finale, Jason Bonham and his band joined Heart for more Zeppelin songs:  Battle of Evermore, The Song Remains the Same, Rain Song, The Ocean, and Kashmir.  They closed out an amazing night of classic rock with Stairway to Heaven, complete with a choir!

Getting you ready for Monday night 6/17/13 and the start of the Heart/Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience summer tour Jason stopped by the Gater Studios last year to talk with Andy Preston he talked in depth about the 2007 show at the O2 Arena, the Celebration Day project, and said he was honored and proud to be part of a product called Led Zeppelin.  He also talked about the final rehearsal for the show which took place at Shepperton Studios.

When asked to elaborate about why a reunion tour never happened after the O2 show, Jason said he and Robert Plant spoke very long and hard about it.  It wasn't simply because Robert had other things going on.

Jason shared a conversation that he and Robert had, and it turns out there were more personal reasons.  He said Robert told him "John (Bonham) was the drummer in Led Zeppelin" and that he "struggles sometimes just thinking about trying to create some magic again when he's not there...he was a very, very dear friend of mine, that I miss everyday."
