This is the spot where I'm supposed to write something about myself. Here goes...
I'm originally from Northern West Virginia and started working in radio when I was in high school. I took a hiatus from the airwaves in the 90's to join the US Army Infantry. I was stationed in Hawaii (25th ID) and in Washington, D.c. (3rd Inf Reg-Old Guard).
When I got out of the Army, I did some work in TV, and then landed back on the air at Eagle 107.5. After spending 10 plus years there, I decided it was time to head south, and here I am...livin' the dream in South Florida on 98.7 The Gater!

You probably know Ed Roland as the frontman from Collective Soul, but do you know about Ed Roland and The Sweet Tea Project? If not, read on!
Their debut album "Devils'n Darlins" will be out on April 9th, and you can catch them live this Saturday night at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth!
I got to chat with Ed today...great conversation! We talked about how the the new band was formed, the new album, the past and future of Collective Soul, and more! Check out the full interview below!
As for the new music, it's a little different from the Collective Soul stuff, but just as solid. Give it a listen...you won't be disappointed! All the songs from the new album are streaming right now at sweeteaproject.com.
