This is the spot where I'm supposed to write something about myself. Here goes...
I'm originally from Northern West Virginia and started working in radio when I was in high school. I took a hiatus from the airwaves in the 90's to join the US Army Infantry. I was stationed in Hawaii (25th ID) and in Washington, D.c. (3rd Inf Reg-Old Guard).
When I got out of the Army, I did some work in TV, and then landed back on the air at Eagle 107.5. After spending 10 plus years there, I decided it was time to head south, and here I am...livin' the dream in South Florida on 98.7 The Gater!

Happy St. Patty's Day Weekend! Here's the rundown....
Happy Birthday Bret Michaels
Bret Michaels turned 50 yesterday, and Jacqueline from Seattle (who apparently has never seen an episode of Cake Boss and just figured out how to use her web cam) decided to bake him a cake and do a couple of video birthday messages! BEYOND WEIRD!! Click here for an extreme close-up video of the cake.
It's the world's first ever smart phone breathalyzer. Plug it into your smartphone, start the app, blow into it, and it will tell you what your BAC is! Gotta love technology. What will they think of next! Read more here.
This Guy Is Lucky!
Veteran skydiver Craig Stapleton was attempting to do a stunt after jumping from about 8,000 feet when both of his parachutes failed! Luckily he landed in row of grapes and some freshly plowed dirt, which cushioned his fall and allowed him to walk away pretty much unscathed! Would he do it again? Yep! Click here to read more.
Guinness Photo Art
That's what i call this! Some people like to take pics of their food...I like to take pics of my beer. I should post this on Pinterest! Have a safe and happy St. Patty's Day!
