This is the spot where I'm supposed to write something about myself. Here goes...
I'm originally from Northern West Virginia and started working in radio when I was in high school. I took a hiatus from the airwaves in the 90's to join the US Army Infantry. I was stationed in Hawaii (25th ID) and in Washington, D.c. (3rd Inf Reg-Old Guard).
When I got out of the Army, I did some work in TV, and then landed back on the air at Eagle 107.5. After spending 10 plus years there, I decided it was time to head south, and here I am...livin' the dream in South Florida on 98.7 The Gater!

The 2 Million Bikers Ride to DC happened earlier today. Bikers from all over showed to join the ride through The Nation's Capital, and they also were on social media to keep everyone updated. Reports say as many as 880,000 bikes were there for the ride which was held to remember those that lost their lives 12 years ago on September 11, 2001.
Below are some of the highlights from Twitter and Youtube, and links to a couple stories/other videos.
I wish I could've been there to ride today with my fellow bikers and patriots. To everyone involved...GREAT JOB.
I really think this should become an anual event (and from the looks of the official Facebook page, I think it might be!).
